We worship every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., and everyone is always welcome!
Maybe you're checking out the website and you're thinking about joining in worship. Well, what should you expect with worship at River of Grace?
First, have fun with it. There are real people at River of Grace who are looking forward to welcoming you. We won't be all in your face about it. We're just going to be glad to see you. Why? Because we believe we have a good thing going here and we are so grateful to share it with others.
Second, just be yourself. God loves you without exception, and because we know and trust that, we're going to love you, too. Don't worry about looking your best, acting your best, thinking your best. Just be you. There's lots of room for you here.
Third, let worship lighten your load. Whether it be through prayers or music or hearing God's Word or taking part in communion, God can work to make your heart happy. We're excited to get to be part of that.
Fourth, don't worry about dressing up or down. Just be yourself. Any given Sunday, you'll find people in suits or shorts, with ties or with t-shirts, with dresses or capris, whatever. Wear whatever suits you, and since God loves us all as we are, you certainly don't need to dress up for us.
Fifth, everything you'll need to worship is included in a worship folder you'll receive when you arrive. We also have the lyrics to our songs projected on a screen so you can be looking up at them, or down into your worship folder when it's time for songs. We sit some and stand some during worship, and that'll be easy for you to figure out, too. Even if it's not ... no one cares if you're sitting when they are standing. If you're standing while they are sitting, well, at least you'd figure it out pretty quickly. Point is, just be real. We'll walk you through it.
Sixth, thank you. Thank you for exploring this far. Thank you for looking for God in this world that can be so crazy at times. Thank you for your desire to be part of something bigger than yourself and something that matters a lot in our world. We look forward to meeting you!
